I’ve been away from here for a minute (real life has completely taken over, sadly), but tonight marked a momentous occasion and I feel like I should commemorate it here. I finally, finally showed the pilot episode of Agents of Shield to my daughters. 

We’ve been going through the MCU movies in order for our weekly family movie night, beginning with Iron Man a month ago. They’d seen some of the later movies in the theater (Captain Marvel, Ant Man and the Wasp) but only bits and pieces of the Phase 1 movies. Tonight, we finally watched Avengers. Which meant they were ready for AoS. (I know technically it should come after Iron Man 3, but I’ve waited long enough!) They already liked Coulson, so it was a natural progression.

To be completely honest, they weren’t totally awestruck by it, but they were very curious. Especially about how Coulson is alive again. And I think they might be up for watching more, so that feels like a win to me.

Browsing through the auction and now I really want a containment pod so I can put it in my back yard and convert it into a home office (dimensions are something like 13′ x 8′). It’s starting at $2K, which isn’t too bad -- I mean IT’S A CONTAINMENT POD -- but it is an auction and the estimate is $8-10K, so it’ll probably go to some rich person who doesn’t even appreciate the history and potential.

A FitzSimmons fairytale book

So I’ve been thinking about this for a while but I put it off because it’s always a little scary to present a project like this. But with the show having just ended, I really want to keep a physical object from my fandom experience and share it will all of you. From the moment I started writing and drawing my FitzSimmons fairytale, I thought I’d love to see it printed and some of you had expressed interest in seeing a printed version of it as well so I thought I’d give it a try. 

I have already found a few different options for printing but first, I need to have an estimate of the number of people interested in it to see if it would be doable at a reasonable price. The idea would not be to make a lot of money from it, if at all (the price would mostly cover the cost of printing and shipping) but to share something with you, my lovely fandom friends ❤️ So if you could answer this quick little survey to help me decide on certain aspects of it. (For instance, I will have to add a few more illustrations in it to fit the minimum number of pages required and I’d love your opinion on what those should be). A signal boost and reblog would be very helpful :)

Interest Post

I’ve got an idea but I’m wondering if anyone’s interested in seeing it come to life. For those of you that don’t know, I have an art business where I create and sell things like prints and stickers. I’ve put some examples of my signature collection below but here’s my idea to expand it. So far I have Disney and Broadway inspired designs but I have this nagging desire to add a Marvel (specifically Shield to start) section to the collection as well. Is this something y’all would be interested in seeing (even if just seeing it here and not shopping)?
