1. How to make your day
When you wake up in the morning, you can experience one of a few things. 1. Foggyness 2. Being startled (by where or who you wake up to.. etc.) 3. Still in a dream 4. Emotional from your dream/ life situation 5. Some sort of physical discomfort (hangover, hunger, illness, etc.) 6. Feeling happy, or feeling positivity 7. Being naked (which could be good or bad) 8. Confusion 9. Still intoxicated from the night before 10. Panic (late, scared, etc.) Now this data isn't exactly based off of scientific research and is about as credible as it is personal to me. BUT, nonetheless, I'm assuming, and rightfully so, that I've covered a range that most can relate or agree to. (Side note: to be clear, I assume, often.. Sorry in advance for any offensive, incorrect, or obscure declarations made in any of the blogs I post, on behalf of that fact. Feel free to shoot me an email if you need to work something out, lol.) Anyway, which of these lead to good days and which lead to bad? Who votes that it shouldn't really matter? I do. Of course if your day starts out in good humor, (reference number 6) chances are it'll give the universe enough momentum to keep it going that direction for the rest of the day; which results in a super, radical, amazing day overall! Cheers all the way around! We all know how great that feels. Well what if it doesn't start out so awesome, and you wake up in one of those other numbers, or in one that I neglected to include? Looks like you're going to have a shitty day, huh.. NO WAY! It appears that the general consensus believes in the whole "it's just one of those days" concepts, that dooms us all to a day of terribleness, just because. I'm not cool with that, and neither should you, because Superman knows the universe isn't cool with it. (FYI superman interchangeable with God- don't be offended, we'll talk about it in a later blog post.) What I'm getting at is, it doesn't have to be SO just because it seems SO. If your day starts off on the wrong foot, that in no way means it should continue stumbling that direction. There is a difficult, yet simple solution to this. It won't even be difficult for everyone, but possibly to some, only because you have to train yourself to think differently first, which isn't exactly easy for everyone... There's a two part solution to turning your day around, or even better, just keeping a wonderful day wonderful!!! 1. Change your mind, Change your life. By that I mean, change the way you're seeing anything in the present moment from negatively to positively. If you're thinking positively, continue to do so, and even promote or project it towards others. Allowing your perspective to shift, allows for your projected path to shift. Start thinking awesome and you'll start experiencing awesome, guaranteed. 2. Make your day You can do this a few ways. Here are my suggestions: -Spend time doing something you love -Spend time with your family, friends, or lover -Make an effort to engage in your everyday activities in a new or different way (ie. listening to music while you do something for once, or changing up the order of your routine) -Reward yourself in your own way (subjective, obviously) -Remind yourself of your gifts and how wonderful you are -Show gratitude and be thankful for your blessings -Make somebody else's day (hint for next blog post) -Exercise, or doing anything else that makes you feel good -Give yourself a break, create, or let something go -Sharing good vibes. (When you put good vibes out, you get them back) I could keep going, but I think that is a good representation of the concept I'm trying to convey. You can continue to add to my list, or make your own. Literally, or mentally, you can keep a list of these to be readily available for any moment you feel like your day has steered you wrong, or is about to continue to do so. Once you decide your day is going to be made, find an outlet or explore a resource that you feel can help you achieve that, and the universe will see to it becoming so. It always will, never fails. And if it does, it's not failure, just an event that directs you towards where you need to be. This life will provide you with anything you need, you just have to be ready to receive it. Now go out and make your day, or night, or tomorrow, or the rest of forever! BM out.
