Bigfoot 1970

Groovy baby! It’s the hip grindhouse grandaddy o of monster movies. The movie that started the bigfoot grindhouse craze that lives on to this day on straight to streaming cheese and sleaze. 

Cute go go dancing girls outside dancing around a fire with their boyfriends with little motorcycles and puffing jazz cigarettes. This kids (played by adults) are just chillin and feeling those psychedelic grooves as they try not to harsh their buzz when bugged eyed Sasquatch attacks them. The mod cuties in tight sweaters scream and the stink ape carries them away, you know how it is.   It’s a mix of all the grindhouse / drive in stereotypes of the time mixed into one. Hippies, Hillbillies, bikers, bandanas and sexy stoner girls. With appearances by the B movie God John Carradine and western legend Ken Maynard to make you pretend that acting or story was important in this movie. Deep down it's just a more colorful take on the beach girls and the sea monster yarns that teenagers had been watching for the last decade before this. After this movie though the woods became the go to place for babes and bros to get attacked by monsters, even if the bigfoot in this movie does look like he is more shocked by us then we are by him... seriously his face looks ridiculous.   Wait till you see the baby bigfoot .. yep we get a bunch of different Bigfoots.. bigfeets? All with different and uniquely bad costumes. Far out man!
