How do I get on the show?
If you would like to do a Podcast Episode or Written Interview, please send a message or ask on this Tumblr, or head over to the Discord(18+) server and fill out the sign-up form there.
You will need Discord to conduct a podcast interview, but not to complete a written one.
How does it work?
If you are doing a written interview, I will send a Google doc with the questions for you to fill out and when it must be completed.
If you are doing a podcast interview, I will contact you to set up a time to record*. At that time, I will invite you to the private voice channel where we can get started.
*Recordings, Episodes, and Interviews are currently being scheduled several months out.
What questions will you ask?
Below are a list of the basic questions I will ask, however, the podcast is meant to be informal and conversational. Additional questions may come up based on your answers. Please let me know if you only want to answer the provided questions.
Screen name, preferred name, and pronouns
What got you into fic writing and the fandom?
Do you have a specific writing process? If so, what does it look like? ((Ex:Snacks, drinks, special spot, laptop, phone, music, silence?))
Name of the fic?
Why that name?
Was it hard to come up with?
What sparked the idea for the fic, and how did that concept change throughout the process?
What is your favorite part of the story you told?
Are there any Easter Eggs or little details you're really proud of?
What do you wish someone would ask you about the fic?
Anything else you want to plug? ((Ex:Another fic, an event, or a sideblog))
Once the interview is complete, I will edit it down, create a transcript, and post the Interview or Episode on Ao3 and Spotify (if applicable). After the work has been posted on Ao3, I will update the Master Posts here on Tumblr and update the Discord.
