A few days ago I felt like drawing some bustin' out fanart since I have finally been able to play the game again! and I wanted a bit of a break from said game cuz even with building at lot of skill points at Mom's place at the start (5 skill points for all skills) it still was getting hard for me, especially when I tried to get my sim married!
Speaking of my sim I decided to just play the default character, Pat Newbie and start with the counter culture career because one of my roommates was watching and wanted me to pick it because it confused her XD. For reference she's also a sims player but, has only played TS2&4 on PC (mostly a TS4 player though) so it was especially fun seeing her reactions to some of the games more "mature themes", learn more about Sims franchise in general and, even asking what the game's rating is lol.
As for the fanart, I first did an acrylic ink painting of a picture I took of the frutti household (I played them a little before drawing when I got frustrated with story mode lol) to both practice my ink painting skills and drawing environments/scenes, since I tend to stick to just drawing characters. I think it came out okay but I'm a little embarrassed it took me about an hour to do. Here's the picture below, warning for terrible photo quality lol.
After doing that painting I drew Pat an an outfit I gave her after moving out of Mimi's place and used alcohol markers to colour it in. Then lastly I drew Pat (in another outfit cuz I love cas) with Randy and Paisley from Casa Caliente because I honestly love that place and these two, and their house is extremely fun, I even gave them another room with another heart bed in it before moving onto pixel aches. This drawing also became an ink painting because I really love to paint with acrylic inks, imo they're like water colours but better.
Then I of course put my fanarts in my sketchbook and made a fun little layout with scrap paper and stickers, I also used stamps for some text and heart details :P. Hope you all enjoyed looking at my fanart and reading my super long art and sims ramble, assuming you did, idk if anyone even reads this far lol I mostly do this for myself tbh XD
