𝑰 𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒕 : $300 in 5 days 𝑰 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒅 : Between $2,000 - $2,500 on me 𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐮𝐩. I know…you are probably like…😱. 𝑩𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒈𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔. As an American, our credit cards 💳 are not accepted and good luck finding an 🏧 that will actually accept them, cause it’s nearly impossible. This is why it is important that you carry as much as you think you will need when traveling. …………………………. 𝑰 𝒉𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒍𝒚 𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒚𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒏 𝒂 “𝑪𝒂𝒔𝒂 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒓” 🏠 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 @airbnb Find a reputable host, with great reviews! They will more than likely be able to tell you how much you will need to exchange for the days of your stay. They will also be able to help you make that currency 💴 exchange using “𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝒑𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒔,” as I like to call it. 😅 …………………………… For example, my host, Damien, was the best!!! He told me exactly how much I would need for 5 days, and made a quick phone call ☎️ to a friend of his. Not long after, the friend showed up on a bicycle 🚴, with dollar-to-dollar amount I needed : $300 USD to Cuban Pesos I had never seen anything like this! 🤣 But I was told this is the norm. Which makes sense, cause there really is no way to change the money back to USD, once you’ve converted it to Cuban Pesos. ➡️ 𝑺𝑶 make sure you bring enough money in your country currency for the duration of your trip. ➡️ 𝑩𝑼𝑻 only exchange the exact amount you’ll need 𝑰𝑵 𝑪𝒖𝒃𝒂. Make sure you are able to use it all in Cuba.
