In spite of her good looks and girly pastimes, the captain of the swim team has a brash attitude that gives her a tomboyish reputation. She’s good friends of Yusuf and Mimi Najima – when they moved to the US, she took them under her wing as part of a peer mentoring program. She’s also been a part of the Quiz Bowl team in the past – when the team was preparing for the State Championships, she stood in as the captain of an auxiliary team for the main team to practice against. She’s sworn a vendetta against the kid who trashed her bicycle last year, and never shuts up about it.
