Today, I drew a house that I saw a picture of on the internet. The building, called “Seabreeze”, has been recently published by RX Architects on their site. Its unique color and location have caught my eye. Thus, I decided to sketch it with the use of crayons. It reminded me of my childhood drawings and their pureness. It was not a very challenging nor stressful activity, and it gave me a lot of pleasure. Maybe I should consider drawing more with crayons.

TRYING NEW THINGS SO I took part in a project called “Różni, ale Równi”. I had no idea about it, I thought I was going to sing something for some kind of a commercial or whatnot. Then it turned out that the people handling the project were supposed to film me singing, talking about my passions and stuff, spending time with friends and family, etc. It was unexpected and surprising, but definitely fun.

Today, I cooked one of the most popular Thai soups- Tom yum. My friend has inspired me to prepare an Asian dish, in order to broaden my cooking abilities. Thai cuisine is one of my favourite, but I have never cooked it by myself at home. I always thought that it is quite challenging to cook foreign dishes without having authentic ingredients. In this case I had to find some substitutes that are accessible in polish shops. To my surprise Tom yum was not very complicated to cook, and I think that as a beginner it was a success. In the near future I will attempt to prepare other Thai dishes.

This month for creativity , I put up LED strip lights in my bedroom after thinking about what I can do to make my room feel better. I also drew doodles on my arm as I am a terrible drawer but got bored. I'm happy with both I'd say.

For activity I walked a lot and went for a few runs. Some were tiresome but generally I felt good afterwards. I will make an effort to run more often, hopefully making it somewhat easier.

This month I used a hotel gym to workout and although it was exhausted it felt good at the sime time. I also had my regular tennis practice which I enjoyed. I typically don't enjoy physically exhaustive activities but they better my mental health.

I went to a preschool for service. This time round I mostly spent time interacting with the children instead of cleaning or preparing lunch. I really liked talking to the children about what they like to do and what interests them. I feel that young children are often overlooked and don't often get a chance to just make regular conversation in certain aspects.

I baked banana bread as I had some downtime and after making it many times, it doesn't take me long.

All these experiences were great.

Creativity - Service

My younger siblings said they really wanted waffles, so I made it for them and my family. It took me a long time as I made a large batch. I enjoyed making them and it was an enjoyable experience.

March 2024- Creativity

My French teacher advised me to make a journal where I can practice writing in French a few sentences from time to time. It's not a requirement, but I could do it for myself. I decided to take her advice, and chose to make a Frech culture related collage. I started by cutting out images from a French magazine I had and prepared a layout. Once I had glued everything I didn't like the yellow background so I improvised and used correction liquid to cover it up.

I don't write in it as much as I would like to or as such I feel I should, but I plan on making it a more regular activity.

Creativity/ Service

My mother had a few friends over, and I helped with preparing and arranging a variety of snacks and charcuterie boards. It was hard work but everyone seemed pleased.
