Buzz being the main villain really shocked me to the core-

So I don’t think this is talked about enough, but

Froghorn was the one who figured out Casey Morgan’s identity, a.k.a. the Spectrum mole, a.k.a. the person who had the Count at her mercy.

This happens at the very end so it’s reasonably glossed over, but I hope he got the acknowledgment and thanks he deserved.

I’m also really curious how he figured it out; Hitch told us he went back to Prism Vault but never said which files he looked at. Anyone want to discuss theories?

ok there's so much about the archivist!froghorn au that i haven't even remotely worked out but here are some antagonists

the count/victor von leyden: is the head of the institute. he's .... basically canon count but more bureaucratic and oh god i hate him. avatar of the whore the eye

casey morgan: the original founder of the institute, who has been body-hopping for the past 200 years. victor von leyden is actually casey morgan in the body of von leyden. morgan sucks i hate her too. an avatar of the eye, but also heavily web-aligned with a touch of stranger in there too

marnie novak/the australian: avatar of the desolation!!

lorelei von leyden: avatar of the stranger. also in this au the name is a coincidence because i don't want to think about the count having a kid it unnerves me too much

claude fontaine: avatar of the vast. i know his whole thing is actually not falling from heights but i just think itd be neat

Buzz Headcanon

Okay but, imagine colourblind Buzz. She has protanopia, which means the colours she sees are very limited. The only things she can really see are blues, yellows and browns. All her phones look those colours, instead of the rainbow they are meant to be. All of Spectrum looks gross and bland to her rather than the bright rainbow colours it’s supposed to be. It’s also why her clothing choices are off and don’t seem to match - the colours she picks match in her own eyes but look odd to everyone else.

Also this is kinda just because.. Spectrum is based about rainbows and the bad guy within it can’t see said rainbows. .. ‘cause irony.
