So, here's the thing.

I'm starting to think that Castle hasn't actually been kidnapped. Maybe he's really just in an ambulance and when season 7 starts it'll pick up with Beckett looking at the burning car and then we'll hear a raspy voice yell "Kate" and she'll look over and see his beautiful face, covered in dirt and blood but he's alive and breathing, and she'll run to him and then they'll get married and go on a honeymoon and that'll allow for a time jump. Then throughout the normal cases of the season there will be an arc where they try to find the jackhole that did all that stuff to mess up their wedding and tried to kill him, kind of taking place of the Johanna/Bracken arc since that one is over. I could be waaaaaaay off, seeing as how I'm not a writer for Castle, but I've just got this gut feeling that he's not going to be missing. No matter what happens I'm going to love it, but I think this would be my favorite way for the story to pick up.
