Casket of Ancient Winters plan

I've been trying to figure ot a way to do the Casket of Ancient Winters from the first Thor movie. At first, I was going to make it from Plexiglas. It's durable and etchable, for the cracks on the front. The problem is that I would be hard pressed to be entirely accurate with the angles of it. So I'm going a different route with a friend. We're going to stack foam board to make a block (much cheaper than a foam block), carve it out and vacuum form a plastic shell around it, and then use aluminum flashing for the framework around it. It'll be much cleaner in terms of the bending, there's no chance of warping the Plexiglas, and it will be a lot lighter than using Plexiglas as well! I can't wait to see this come together!

Loki felt a wave of cold; not like the physical bite of winter chill or the nip of early morning, but something akin to a shiver in the air - a cold tremble detected almost solely by his magic. There was a disturbing familiarity to this frigid power, like the whisper of a memory that summoned to mind thoughts of hated blue skin and a casket. 

Greenland was an isolated place, but he traveled there occasionally to browse bookshops and remain informed on any archeological endeavors. He had hardly excepted to feel anything, or one, of this nature here. 

Loki shifted the satchel on his shoulder and followed the pulse of seidr...to a woman with skin that resembled snow and hair a pale gold. There was magic between his fingers - slivers of crackling, green light that hissed softly - as he stopped, his gaze fixed upon her. “Who are you?”

      Magic can be felt, like ICE through veins ; flows through air surrounding, wrapping         every crack of mind & body in warmth of knowing. Feelings are new ( perhaps not         so, should  Loki’s mind  not be  shattered ), and he  basks in  wonderment of what         such means. All  of unknown  since return to Realm Eternal, and not  even he can         shatter secrets within, ( not yet, anyways. )

If you were to ask Natasha Romanoff why she was going after an 0-8-4, on her own, without any reason, in Russia, she’d tell you it was her job. She needed to make sure nothing got into the hands of HYDRA and this was the best way. She might be on her own due to the fact the team had ripped itself apart, but she was still going to do her job.

And when she reached where she’d gotten the reports of the 0-8-4, she found it was a person. “Hello?” She started, trying to keep the person calm. “I understand you have some gifts.”

The sun shone down on the deck of the Jolly Roger as Hook made his way across the wooden surface. He came up from his quarters below as his men told him the purchase had arrived. It was a trade with a foreign kingdom, one which was payment for their ransom of a princess. Hook felt the heat of the sun as it beamed down from overhead, and headed towards the middle of the deck, where his men awaited him. 

“This is her?” He looked over the woman. “This is the new prize?”
