4. if they could learn one spell that isn’t available to them at present, which spell would it be?
Cassiopeia - I honestly think counterspell. She wants to be able to protect her friends and loved ones as best as she can, and being able to just knock a spell out of the air would make her feel so powerful, since that’s not something she can do but would love to be able to.
Sunburst - commune, I think. She wants to get some things straight with Lathander. Although sunbeam would be sick too. Really get that pure concentrated power of the sun laser vibe going.
Sabetha - I think she would also like commune but not to talk to a god but to her fiendish patron. Although, modify memory would be helpful as well….
11. what skills are they proficient in? why?
Cassiopeia - in her original campaign, she had insight, medicine, persuasion, and religion. Religion and medicine because she is a religious figure and a healer, brought up in a temple. She’s good at reading people and seeing the intention behind their words, so insight. She’s a paladin so she has persuasion based on her sheer force of personality.
Sunburst - she’s proficient with perception, medicine, insight, and religion. Similar to cass, she was brought up in a church and trained as a healer, so medicine and religion (even tho she’s maybe succeeded one (1) religion check over the entire year-long campaign). Perception for her awareness of her surroundings and bright light, and then insight because she really has an ability to connect with people and glean the truth from them.
Sabetha - so I don’t remember her original stats and I lost her sheets, but for the purposes of my dnd-inspired story with these guys, she has history, arcana, religion, and deception. History, specifically religious history, and arcana are her special interests so naturally she’s proficient with those, and she’s a warlock, of course she can lie. It’s all she’s got.
38. what do they smell like?
Cassiopeia - she smells a bit like brimstone and smoke, but she wears a wild rose perfume, so kind of a smokey rose
Sunburst - pure woodsmoke and embers, and if you get really close, burning range close, a bit like gasoline
Sabetha - warm damp earth, sage, incense, myrrh, and a bit of iron
45. how do they hug people?
Cassiopeia - she gives the best hugs - she’s tall and strong and soft and warm. She hugs in the way she wants to be hugged - tight and close like she’ll never let you go.
Sunburst - her hugs start a bit timid and a-frame, she’s terrified of burning someone. But if you’re not afraid of that, she’ll hug you so gently and so warmly that it’s almost reverent.
Sabetha - her hugs are soft and warm and a bit afraid, like they’ll be taken away from her too quickly.
56. what animal do they most relate to?
Cassiopeia - guard dog, or better yet, fighting dog
Sunburst - bird of paradise
Sabetha - some kind of crow or magpie, something slightly skittish that can be caged
69. (Nice) how would they describe their party members?
Ooohh so cass and sab no longer technically have parties, as their campaigns ended (and I don’t remember sab’s party members since it was like 8 years ago), so sadly I won’t be able to answer for them, but Sunny has a party! She has many thoughts on them!
the barbarian - that's Sunny's bestie, that's her girl. They're ride or die, even though they couldn't be more different. Sunny thinks she's a bit rash, a bit wild, a bit shortsighted, and she cannot stand the necromancy, but doesn't want to make any decisions for her, so she grits her teeth and tolerates it. She'd do anything for her.
the ranger - Sunny thinks very highly of him. She thinks he's a gentleman and that people are way too mean to him given he's an outsider. She is too, and she thinks he's got a good heart, even if he's fine with casual violence. Although he did lie to her face last session, and she let slide because she could tell he was uncomfortable. But a lie's a lie....
the wizard - Sunny is very curious about them, and a little startled by their violent nature. She just learned about their past a bit, and she's a lot more sympathetic, and just wants to make them feel comfortable and safe.
28. How old is your character, and how do they feel about their age? Is there a different age they'd rather be?
Okay we’re immediately putting her on blast for being Incredibly Sad - she’s 27 but she feels a lot older. She feels like she’s been through too much to only be 27. This poor woman has been in Situations since birth and hasn’t stopped moving. She’s really like to be at least 60 - she wants to be old and on the other side of her trauma and finally get time to rest.
29. If your character has keys, what are they like? Do they have a lot of keychains or extra things on the ring? Many keys? Just one?
In my canon for her, she doesn’t actually have any keys, because she moves/travels frequently so the most she’d have is the occasional inn room key. But in a modern AU? She’s a carabiner girlie and has sooooooo many keys - apartment keys, friends’ apartment keys, her Subaru’s keys, gym keys, firehall keys, so many she’d jingle.
1. Are there any names they like to be called in bed/names they call their partner? Any names they wouldn’t use/can’t stand?
Judas - he’ll call a partner all manner of nasty things, it’s really up to the partner to be honest. He doesn’t have much of a preference of what a partner calls him, although he doesn’t love hearing his own name? It reminds him he exists outside of his own head and that lowkey takes him out of the moment. His nickname Weaver is fine, and while he hasn’t tried it, wouldn’t be opposed to being called daddy.
6. Any place they absolutely would not have sex?
Judas - oh gosh anywhere there’s a chance of spiders, so most outside places (a dark alley’s doable tho) or cellars. Most public places would be out, on account of he doesn’t want to get caught and have to explain himself (again, an alley’s doable for whatever reason). He’d really prefer a private room with a bed and a locking door.
15. Describe their favorite sexual encounter.
Cassiopeia - ooohhh probably with an ex girlfriend, a vampire lord’s ward. It would have been during a high-tension period of her adventure, so emotions were already high. It was deeply passionate and romantic enough to be deemed holy. Cass loves to worship a lady, devotion bordering on possession. A bit frantic, a bit messy, but over all an outpouring of love and desire and heat and hope.
22. Favorite thing/part about sex—intimacy, role-playing, etc.
Cassiopeia - the intimacy, for sure. She likes to romance, she likes to court, and she’s a paladin so of course she’s good with her hands and eager to get on her knees in prayer. She likes the closeness and making her partner feel as good as possible.

Tough because everything about her is so sad! She likes to stop and pet street dogs and cats when she encounters them! If she had the time and space to be a pet mom, she absolutely would take them all home with her.
🌈 RAINBOW - what advice would they give to their younger self?
She would tell her younger self that all the anger and grief she was forced to put away for survival is valid and does not make her broken. She would tell baby Cass that she is not a monster for simply existing. She would also tell her to not start drinking, even if the lull of numbness is tempting. It’s not worth it. But it’s too late now.
🪤 MOUSE TRAP - what will always lure them into certain danger? a loved one in danger? a promise of something they are always searching for?
Cass will go through hell and high water to protect a loved one without even being asked. She’ll do it for just about anyone if asked. If it’s the “right thing to do”, she’s going for it, no matter the danger. Her self preservation is not that great so she often finds herself in dangerous situations, thinking herself a misfortune magnet. But once she’s in it, she’s fighting tooth and nail. She might also be the dangerous situation…..
🍓 STRAWBERRY - do they eat their fruit & veg? what is their favourite fruit or vegetable?
Travelling all over the place alone makes it a bit difficult to regularly have fresh fruits and veg, but she overall does! She appreciates a balanced meal. She loves blackberries best, but she fucks hard with potatoes. Potatoes are her best friends.
🌠 SHOOTING STAR - if they could make any wish with no repercussions, what wish would they make?
Ooohhh okay contrary to what it might seem, her biggest wish would be to completely destroy the purity cult and have it never start up again. Within that is the ask that her pain and grief and anger is eased. She wants it to be eased so badly. And she doesn’t want anyone to go through the turmoil she’s been through. She wouldn’t be able to live with herself.
1. What was the original thought that led to the creation of this character?
Cassiopeia - she was built for a curse of strand campaign that was the first dnd experience for one of my good friends! There were only 3 of us in the party, and I wanted a character that a) fit the campaign setting and b) kind of covered party roles that the other two players didn’t cover. I wanted a character that was a bit rough around the edges and also very nuanced. So, thee paladin was born! It took me forever to decide her name.
Sunburst - I was on Pinterest, suffering one of the worst mental health periods of my life, and went “haha sunburst would be a cute name for a dnd character.” Then fast forward a handful of weeks and we started a new campaign (w the same good pal as above!) and Jane, my wife and dm, went fee can you pls play a healer and I went ya sure and dawnbringer sunburst was born!
6. What was the thought process behind their appearance? Did you go mostly for the aesthetic or are there other reasons they look the way they do?
Cassiopeia - I wanted her to be a juxtaposition between holy and hellish, so she’s a tiefling with a broken horn, long tail, weird eyes, and fangs - often mistaken for a cambion. She’s physically imposing (both tall and solid) and reflects her high strength score. She’s gay so she has a mullet. The mullet is because of the gay.
Sunburst - if I’m not playing a tiefling, I’m playing a genasi. I wanted her to be obviously different looking and her appearance is supposed to be a bit… blatant in its symbolism. She’s got fire hair and burning eyes from god you see! The art deco aesthetic is just because I like art deco, and it happened to go well with the sun motifs.
11. Is there any existing character from other media that your character resembles? Was the resemblance intentional or was it a coincidence?
Cassiopeia - at the time, not as far as I was aware, but when BG3 came out I was like oh she looks similar to Karlach - big, beefy, devilish (and then I made cass as my first tav and they were a match made in heaven hell)
Sunburst - not as far as I know! How her hair reacts when she’s angry or upset though is giving hades from Hercules lol

Ahh thank you! I don’t talk about her as much as I should, I love her so much! Originally from a Curse of Strahd campaign but I’ve developed her so much since then! Especially since she was my tav for my first bg3 run 🥹
7. What’s your character like when they’re sad? When they’re angry?
Oh… oh, rough. She drinks when she’s sad and it manifests as guilt and self hatred. She’ll also try to force sadness into anger. When she’s angry, oh boy, she’s a force to be reckoned with. Her anger is hot and righteous and vengeful. Very little will stand in her way when she’s angry. However, she’s very used to being sad and angry.
13. If ethics and care weren't an issue, what would be your character's dream pet?
Oh hmmm she’s a practical woman so I think her dream pet would be a working dog or a big draft horse. She’s not particularly interested in exotic creatures, preferring to admire from afar.
25. It's your character's day off, and they're going out. Where are they going?
Hmmm she rarely has days off! But she’d probably hit up a market for some fresh food and local goods, probably to visit and/or help out a friend or someone in the community, and then finish the day with pints at a tavern or dive bar.
29. Does your character have any fears that others consider silly or childish?
Honestly, not really? She’s very brave and pretty unflappable - she’s seen a lot of shit in her day! Anything she’s afraid of would have to be very legitimate! Or at least like. Trauma related.

Salt - they don't really put a label on themself other than queer, but the closest one is pan
Cassiopeia - she is a Lesbian tm
02. when did your muse realise they had become sexually attracted to others?
Salt - pretty young, like probably 14-15? They've always been pretty in touch with their body and sexuality, they just didn't act on it until a bit older.
Cassiopeia - oh man it was something she really tried to ignore for as long as possible, so probably not until she was like 18ish I think
12. how sensitive sexually is your muse?
Salt - Very lol they get turned on really easily and then is pretty physically sensitive once in the mood, but they can also go for a long time/have too much stamina lol
Cassiopeia - kind of mid? sex isn't a big priority for her, but once she's in the mood or in bed with someone, she's pretty sensitive
17. how confident is your muse in expressing their desires?
Salt - Oh very confident. They have no problem saying exactly what they want as bluntly as they can - and they hope the other person (or people) does the same. They'll be like sexy or flirty about it, but it will be direct. They think communicating their desires makes for better sex
Cassiopeia - she's a bit shy, so she tends to follow her partner's lead. If they state what they want, she is then more comfortable to express what she wants. She's also a service top, though, so usually she's happy to grant her partner's wishes.
🌙do they need an emotional connection or are one-night-stands an option?
Cassiopeia would prefer an emotional connection, kind of building up to the point of having sex? That’s not to say she hasn’t had or won’t have a one night stand, it kind of just depends on how lonely she is

It’s not high but not nothing either! Probably like 5? 6? Fewer than 10 but more than 5!

Oh man going off her run as Tav, I want to say the woods or perhaps Avernus. She likes a bed and some privacy.

Gotta give it to her, but missionary. She likes to be able to see her partner’s expressions as well as touch as much as she likes. She also likes a reach around kind of situation since she likes to hold her partner close. She’s really warm and soft and strong, and just likes being close.
