my artist's curse is that I instantly notice when things are a little off in art pieces, especially if the anatomy is wrong or the character is off-model.
my oracle's curse is that my trauma fuels constant self-fulfilling, self-affecting divinations of whatever future my brain so desires at that moment! :>

The first thing Cassidy was aware of the following morning was the light and the pressure. She winced as her eyes opened a crack, blasting her with brightness that left her head ringing with pain. As her eyes adjusted, she saw that a thin sliver of light was breaking through a crack in the curtained back window of her wagon, reflecting off the steel hand draped over the edge of a nearby shelf. She reached up and fumbled for the curtain and a pang of pain hit her again, her head still swimming with a residual buzz as she tried to focus long enough to snick the curtain shut. Must have been a good night, she thought dryly, then gave a start as she heard a quiet groan and felt movement on the bed beside her.
