Commissions, polls, raffles... and more!

Hey all!

Officially, I have finished organizing everything short of the art and 3D courses I'm working on--I might end up on Skillshare, we'll see--and here is the breakdown!

I wanted to continue my typical workflow of making things on a whim based on demand, but it was catching up with me of course... while I love reading a comment asking to see a render of Adrien in a Christmas hat or vampire costume and immediately obliging, even simple requests will have to be commissions moving forward

UNLESS...

The fact is, I also realize the more custom a commission is, the less accessible it is. So, I put together a script where I could tally up votes made within my ko-fi tips. Any character or character modification can be requested in the message box of my ko-fi tip jar, anyone can contribute to existing or new requests. The speed at which these requests are achieved will depend on if the goals are reached and the goals are based on what a full commission would be priced at to begin with.

If I've explained that well, there's more where that came from:

Anyone who donates/tips can also add a prompt involving the character they want to see in future renders. Top donors will have their prompts added to a poll so that everyone can vote once the necessary character's goals are reached. Basically, you could end up with a highly customized commission just by dropping a donation.

As for the raffles bit, every now and then I will hold a raffle where donors of $25 or more will be randomly selected to win a 30-sec animation of any ready-to-go character! Mind you, depending on the request, that's literally like 99% off commission rates for the winner.

I'd like to add, that this is similar to what can also be attained at a higher rate by anyone who becomes a tier-4 to 5 member on my ko-fi memberships. I guess whoever becomes the first member will end up with a lot of free custom requests! :D

Now, if this system works, going into the new year I would like to set up a website or discord where multiple artists can be put on rotation using gathered donations... possibly some other features as well! I just want something that improves the conditions artists are currently facing.

If there's any interest in that, let me know! And if I decide to expand this idea further, I may need a team of volunteers experienced in coding and web design. Stay tuned! In the meantime, my ko-fi will be linked in a reblog for anyone who has a request!

Philza crows let's have a chat.

Now I know that one of the dynamics of Phil's streams is the back and forth between him and chat. He roasts us we roast him in return.

However, chat has consistently gone too far with their jokes and it is turning into straight up bullying, and that needs to stop.

For example the whole bit of him not having eyebrows. I'll admit I've been in on the joke before but during his last stream he mentioned off-handedly that it has turned into an insecurity for him and to me that's not acceptable.

When making fun of streamers we should be teasing them, not making them develop insecurities they didn't have before.

You all do realise that Phil doesn't *have* to stream right? And that at this point it's mostly just a hobby for him? He's likely made enough money from the past few years that if he stops now he'll live comfortably for the rest of his life.

We don't want to bully Phil to the point where he's not having fun anymore. It's already gotten to the point where Phil and Kristin have had to put a stop to the jokes about redstone because it was making him not want to do redstone.

I have a long history of being bullied myself in childhood, and Phil has also talked about being bullied in his own childhood. And I do feel for him because I know what it's like and it makes me uncomfortable seeing how his own chat bullies him.

I'm not asking that we stop bantering with Phil, God knows I love banger. But what I'm asking is that we tone it down so that Phil doesn't stop having fun.

Like yes they are both massive nerds but that doesn't excuse them from being punk.

You can't get more punk than taking over the world and blowing up countries because you hate the government.
