6. What is their favorite feature of their partner’s? 

He loves Quinn’s lips and Piper’s breasts waist. Piper and Quinn agree that Nate has good hands and shoulders. He’s also very embarrassed, currently.

8. Nicknames? & if so, how did they originate?

Nate’s go-to nicknames are “doll” and “sweetheart.” Quinn usually gets the former and Piper usually gets the latter. Quinn’s most likely to call him “stud” or “darling,” depending on her mood. Piper’s go-to is “handsome.”

random headcanon: Leigh is not good at horse riding at all. Most mounts can tell that she’s not human and therefore are uncomfortable with her, and Leigh would honestly walk everywhere before she made herself and a poor horse uncomfortable.

favorite thing about them: She calls it stubbornness, but I love how steadfast she is in everything she does while also being able to concede that she doesn’t know everything. It also makes bringing her out of her harden shell all the more worthwhile.

least favorite thing about them: Honestly she straight up beat the shit out of Varric for no reason, and while her favor towards Templars is understandable it blinds her sometimes. Sorry babe.

favorite line: “I know what you see. I am a warrior. I am blunt and difficult and self righteous. But my heart lies beneath all that. It yearns for these things I cannot have.” (she’s so poetic sometimes hot damn)

random headcanon: Cass normally trims her own hair, but I think that when she becomes close enough to somebody, she’d let them do it for her if they’d like to. I think she’d find that sort of quiet intimacy relaxing.

2. Their mother? How do they think of her? What do they hate? Love? What influence - literal or imagined - did the mother have?

Through most of her life, Nora had a pretty okay relationship with Leandra, but it was also pretty complicated. I think Leandra always blames Hawke a little bit for the bad shit that has happened to her. Mostly though, Nora was just always seeking her approval. She wanted to make her proud and take care of her. 

8. How does your character feel about religion?

After her experience in Kirkwall, she doesn’t have the best relationship with the Chantry itself. I’d classify her as agnostic, leaning Andrastian? She wants to believe in something, but she really doesn’t trust the Chantry as far as she can throw it at this point. Religion in general doesn’t have that much of an effect on her personality or morality, though.

11. How do they see themselves: as smart, as intelligent, uneducated?

Nora definitely sees herself as smart. She had to work hard for it, so she’s proud of it. 

16. What does your character do for a living? How do they see their profession? What do they like about it? Dislike?

Before the Blight, she did a bit of traveling and then joined up with Carver at Ostagar, pretending to be a fighter like him. After Kirkwall, she and Isabela are basically pirates? They do odd jobs and sail around, mostly. She really enjoys it; every day is a new adventure and she gets to do it with the woman she loves.

Layne! What's the silliest thing you've ever seen Cassandra do/done with Cassandra?

“Well,” Layne starts, throwing a glance in Cassandra’s direction, “there was one time when we had set up camp for the night, and Cass was reading one of Varric’s books by the fire.”

Cassandra turns to look at Layne now, clearly catching on to his chosen topic. “Where exactly are you going with this?” she asks with slight apprehension.

Layne gives a mischievous grin and continues. “As she was reading, I noticed that her face would change every so often. It took me awhile but I finally realized that she was making faces for the characters, and it would change depending on which character she was currently reading for.”

“That is utter nonsense!” Cassandra scoffs, but her voice’s pitch rises sharply and her cheeks darken.

“You should’ve seen her; one minute her lips would purse and her face would get all scrunched up as she mouthed the words, and the next minute she’d blow out her cheeks and puff her way through the lines. It was adorable,” Layne laughs, mimicking her by puffing out his cheeks.

Suddenly, Cassandra barrels over and tries to grab the mage, but he jumps away from her grasp and runs to the other side of the room. As Cassandra chases after him he calls back to you, “She does different voices for them too, I’ve heard it!”

And with that, Layne runs out the door and into the courtyard, a red-faced and laughing Seeker following close behind.
