The only thing missing in Sense8 is body type and disability representation. Like, they're all fit and young and attractive... and as much as I love the show, that is problematic. But! The show itself is AMAZING at representing LGBTQ+ (as people, not plot jokes or plot accessories) and THAT is a huge step that needed to be taken and I am grateful for it. Also, everything else is perfect.

2 latinx 2 black ladies 1 mixed race dude 2 asians at least 2 confirmed LGBT like thats 8/16 non straight whites i am impressed CBS
Whyyyyyyy is no one talking about all the diversity in the cast of Sense8?? Or am I missing that? MtF translady, bad-ass MMA Korean fighter woman, loving and devoted African man, soft-hearted police officer, gay male Latin action film star? ALSO. MARTHA JONES. LESBIAN. STRAPPING IT ON. WOW.
Fun fact: one of my major scenario goals for the character I guess you could call my leading lady is to have her lose her shit on some dumbass white person for touching her hair without permission because not enough people seem to realize that doing that to anyone is already rude but it's doubly so when you do it out of the false belief that you have a right to "admire" the "exotic" aspects that make someone different from you.
