He also talks about (which he's talk about before) that he didn't really consider himself an actor until a few years ago and that Kenny helped snap him out of that.
Ryan: Thank God- I'm gonna shout out Kenneth Choi, because that guy is an incredible person. He came up to me season 3 or 4 and said "What are you doing? You gotta study. You gotta put time and effort. You have all the skills and tools at your disposal. You are meant for something bigger than this. So take this thing seriously." So from that moment forward, I acted like a student. I forgot everything I knew and I started reading more. I started asking more questions. And just exploring a lot more with an open mind and an open heart.
