Hell broke loose so fast that she froze — itwas a weird thing, to say you freeze, it’s not like there was a layer of iceall around her body and she couldn’t move, but she felt like it. The whole townwas quiet until she heard the first scream. She looked for it immediately, butthe where there was one person, after an explosion became so many she had noidea where they were coming from at this point. Hanni held her own arm, hereyes looking all around her as people ran and ran and ran. She had no idea fromwhat until the wind blew so hard against her body, she lost her balance andtook a few steps back.

Looking at her, a smirk on his face, was asilver human being.

There was no other way to describe what shesaw, everything was grey, his hair, his jacket, his jeans. Even his eyes lookedgrey from where she was standing. “You didn’t see that coming?” Hesaid on a thick romanian accent as he gave her his hand, helping her get backon her feet.
