i feel so old fashioned in this fandom sometimes bc up until a few months ago my favourite wolfstar fic (and the only one i read) was casting moonshadows. which was written in 2007.

I keep forgetting The Marauders are, in fact, property of JK Rowling and not actually owned by Moonsign, creator of hit fanfic Casting Moonshadows let me out of here.

I miss my boys so much but I worry about drawing them because of what that bitch has done. But also like. What better was to piss off a terf than to draw Wolfstar specifically.

There's a scene where Remus is laying on the grass outside and Sirius watches him? HELP I need to reread. I think James was even straight or homophobic???

So this might be weird, I read somewhere that in the wolfstar fic Casting Moonshadows, something odd happens to Remus post-transformation but they didn’t say what because spoilers, so I’ve been looking and can’t find anything before start reading, so I looked for people that had read and found you so can you help me please? What odd thing?? Thank you!

Oh boy, this takes me way back.

Ok, if I remember correctly (and I do), in Casting Moonshadows, the next day after the transformation into werewolf, Remus usually wakes up fully human but his brain is in the middle between human and wolf. He behaves more immature, more emotional, less like a teenager more like a child.

I always thought those scenes were really cute but it's always important to keep in mind Remus is not in control during those scenes and he hates not being in control.

It makes me really happy that people are still discovering this fanfic so many years later and even after all the JKR stuff. I mean, this fanfic is soooo separated from canon it might as well be its own original work, tbh. It's one of the first ones that made me fall in love with fanfiction.

My mom heard me singing Moonshadow and immediately recognized it.  She asked me how I knew a Cat Stevens song.  It was an interesting moment for me.
