What about Peter? Surely he has to be something other than just ‘the rat’ or ‘the traitor’, right?

I propose that Peter is the earth. I mean, imagine it. He keeps them all grounded and is a very down to earth kind of guy. (the puns were not intended)

He can offer a shoulder to cry on or a listening ear alongside James. He’ll listen to his friends’ (really anyone’s) problems and give advice. He’s a sweetheart and just naturally a kind person. Peter will never be just there to me.

I saw a post about young wolfstar confessions and it did genuinely resonate with me. Now don't get me wrong I love years of pining as much as the next person, but I feel like wolfstar probably confessed and got together in fourth year? Like it makes so much sense that they'd be THE couple of the year? Like everyone knows, it's never denied, everyone goes to them for advice (and nobody mentions the four months in fifth year they stopped speaking - for whatever reason). Yeah. I like that

Regulus always understood that but to Sirius it was impossible to fathom. Despite having grown up together, they became very opposed to each other. Still, they held onto tight to preserve their bond. But the tensions building in the wizarding world might be the finale straw that'd lead them on two very different paths.
