Questions! For Arc: 10, 43, 31. For Mord: 22, 8.
Arcturus:
10. Neuroses? Do they recognize them as such?
Anxiety and depression, and yes he does recognise them. It’s the part where he has to convince them they’re just neuroses and not actually who he is that he finds hard.
43. Religion?
None, or possibly agnostic. The idea of a god is indeed interesting to him, but the difficulty of proving the existence of one makes him remain sceptic.
31. Most prized possession?
Both his wand and the ring he gave his sister for her graduation.
Mordecai:
22. Given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen?
First there would be a list of tasks to do later, numbered, once he gets home. Then there would be a hypothetical list of things that could happen between that time and now. Then a list of exactly what he could do in those situations. Then what should be/have been done to prevent such a situation from happening. Then to organise and set up a system that follows and compromises for those situations.
And then possibly “this is my life” or something on the lines of that written at the bottom.
8. Favorite indulgence and feelings surrounding indulging
Tea. Biggest indulgence is doing nothing except drink tea and enjoy himself relaxing. Plenty of contentment, peace from having no concerns to worry about and basically just enjoy the flavours and aroma of the tea. Lydia knows to not disturb him when he’s doing this.
David and O'Toole's Lawrence share a character arc. They both enter their respective "foreign" territories in triumph ("... this is going to be fun,") and end their voyage in a destruction of self, largely due to an underestimation of the forces at hand. I thought that maybe David's obsession might be that LoA is his father or creator's favourite film? I imagine that Weyland fancies himself like Lawrence - at least in the scope of his dreams.
I don't see that from David at the start - he seems to secretly hate everyone and wait for his opportunity to watch them destroy each other.
In the viral video that was released before the movie, the younger Weyland does quote from the movie - he thinks he's quoting Lawrence himself. I don't know if Scott realises he wasn't.
Excessively Detailed Headcanons Round 1

Excessively Detailed Headcanons: Gabrielle - 16, 21, 28, 35, 38 16: Biggest and smallest long term goal? Biggest long term goal is to someday get possibly married and have a chance at a family, since hers too often has been disastrous; smallest long term goal? To line in properly that beautiful fish that got away because she was afraid to reel it in. 21: Turn-ons? Turn-offs? Turn ons definitely would be seduction using one’s voice, a lover/purveyor of the fine arts, a dashing smile (save Gilderoy – that one had too much razzle dazzle), but most of all, a kind heart. Turn offs are pompous, arrogant twitheads (cough Hamilton, even as he’s a good worker and COUGH COUGH Maurice) who believe they’re immortals. 28: Who do they see as their best friend? Their worst enemy? She probably sees quite a few individuals as her best friends, of which would include old classmates from Hogwarts who now some are Ministry workers: Persepolis Zephyr, Francis Pepper, Zora Roh; Marcus Annwyl and Alex Belisario get honorable mentions! Worst enemy? Likely her stepfather of sorts, Jonathan. Or Maurice, depending on the day. 35: What activities do they enjoy, but consider to be a waste of time? Good inquiry, indeed! Scrapbooking in her younger days, definitely – nowadays? She’s so busy with work, there’s hardly any time to waste. 38: What recharges them when they’re feeling drained? A good strong cup of tea along with either the wireless playing or vintage records that her uncle and a few friends have given to her. Excessively Detailed Headcanons: Rufus - 11, 19, 34, 41, 48 11: Intellectual pursuits? Is it sad to say he hasn’t had many in his lifetime? (whoops.) But I definitely would gander he’s attempted in finding some high intellectual circles to meet up with? 19: What do they think about before falling asleep at night? Whether or not he’s making his mother proud because he misses her terribly.
34: Thoughts on privacy? (Are they a private person, or are they prone to ‘TMI’?) He borderlines TMI at times, but when Rufus wants privacy, it’s best to leave him alone. 41: Hobbies? Post Hogwarts found him a Quidditch player, so he occasionally can be found playing a form of street quidditch when it’s out of season with his Quidditch buddies or at the manor. Rufus also enjoys painting in secret, but he loves cooking. SO MUCH. 48: If this person were to get into a fist fight, what is their fighting style like? Depending on the situation, Rufus could range from bartitsu to full out brawl.
castnuri replied to your post: ARGGGGGGGGH why is The Wolf Amongst Us...
wait, isn’t it on iOS?
Well, I can't find it via 'other' sources so I just assumed it wasn't there. Come on, I already paid for Minecraft this week...

If I just tagged you (and even if I forgot you) THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF MY LIFE AND THANK YOU FOR RESPECTING, HONORING, LOVING ME AS THOUGH WE WERE SIBLINGS AT BIRTH. YOU'VE SEEN ME THROUGH GOOD TIMES AND BAD AND FOR THAT, I CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH.
Rules: In a text post, list ten books that have stayed with you in some way. Don’t take but a few minutes, and don’t think too hard — they don’t have to be the “right” or “great” works, just the ones that have touched you. Tag friends, including me, so I’ll see your list. Make sure you let your friends know you’ve tagged them! The way I did it was just by listing the first ten books/series that came to my head. I was tagged by sarahsellaphix, so I'm tagging thou-shall-not-fall, doomofraven, castnuri, goodgollylestrolly, brandersnatch, slyface, thewerewolfinwinter, unapologeticallydorky, and relievingatlas. 1. The Harry Potter series by JK Rowling 2. The Name of the Wind (The Kingkiller Chronicles) by Patrick Rothfuss 3. Enders Game/Enders Shadow by Orson Scott Card. I've read all the books in the Ender and Bean series, but I make sure to buy all the books used. As much as I love Orson Scott Card's writing, I think he's a reprehensible person and I don't want to support the hateful causes his money goes to. 4. Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit. I particularly enjoy The Return of the King. 5. The World According to Garp by John Irving! 6. Les Miserables by Hugo 7. A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R. R Martin 8. Eragon is a fun read, but I wasn't too fond of it? I guess it's stuck with me because I was able to predict literally everything. 9. The Hunger Games trilogy 10. Trickster's Choice by Tamora Pierce
