Then back to the Christmas gift arts! It was once again a tough job to pick only few people to make gifts for, as I am a person with very limited energy resources and can’t hoard too much work for myself. If I could I would want to make gifts for pretty much every mutual of mine!
But yeah, this time I decided I’ll draw some characters I’ve got to know during 2017. They are:

Preview illustration for January’s vetehi set!
Is this my first non-FR art this year? I think it is. There’s Castrart’s Vetehi-character Nirve doing what those mermaid-dragons generally do: swimming. Though physiologically thinking they would probably swim by moving their body sideways rather than like that, but this looked nicer so screw that.

Summary of art 2016!
This year was really good for me in terms of how much I produced art: I drew much more than for the past few years! I also learned new techniques and have been trying to stabilize my style and find my own aesthetic points I particularly like and enjoy and would like to develop further.
Anyway 2016 is basically “friendship ended with RICH COLOURS now LIMITED PALETTES are my new best friend”
Would you believe me if I said this all started out as a joke and I was supposed to make the most generic pair of 70s shoujo inspired gay dark haired boy & light haired boy duo. Would you. Because at this point I’m not sure anyone would. ANYWAY here is some concept art! I also have a lot more to come
