surely it’s not every day that this happens
apparently it was "bad comic day" few days ago or something. I tend to be late for all events anyway, so whatevs.
but yeah this is how it feels like to do art after not drawing for weeks lol
3, 4, 8, 14, 15 and 19 <3
Thanks buddy! <3
3. Show us your oldest piece of art you have on hand.
=D =D =D I must’ve been something like two years old when I drew this. But because that, albeit amusing, is a bit boring, here’s also a pet shop I drew when I was something like ten:
4. What defines your artistic style?
I have honestly no god damn clue. There is certainly that distinct something in my art that makes it pretty recognizeable even when I mimic other people’s styles or try to draw realistically, but I can’t pinpoint what it is exactly. That’s why I adored the idea when something like ten years ago there was this trend/art meme that was all about trying to draw with the styles of your friends: it was extremely cool to get to sort of see your own style through the eyes of other people. But even so I’m not sure what actually makes my style look like My Style. I could mention things like thick lines or the way I draw eyes, but even when I vary all of those sort of details The Specific Thing is still always present.
8. What is your favourite piece that you have done?
At least the one that instantly comes to mind is this batshit insane piece:
I’m sure I’ve drawn some things that hold more value artistically, but just look at that thing! How could I NOT be somewhat proud of that mess?
14. What do you like drawing the most?
Fantasy animals! Like Pokémon, dragons, CS critters, sparkledogs and such. Drawing them feels (usually) natural and easy and therefore fun.
15. What do you like drawing the least?
Complicated human-made things like vehicles and other machinery... And just humans in general. I’ve tried for years and years to both learn to draw humans and to enjoy doing so, but so far neither has been successful. =‘)
19. What medium/program do you use the most in your art?
I vary my medium as much as possible in order to keep my easily bored brain interested in what I’m doing. Buuuuut let’s face it, Gimp is still the one I use the most nowadays. I’ve used it for so long that drawing with it doesn’t really require any thinking, so it’s the easiest medium for me.

Tuli mieleen Virallisesta Homoluvasta
More Christmas gifts! Like always I wish I could draw more of these for all of the amazing people (and this time I also wish I could’ve drawn something more interesting than these teeny tiny scribbles) but what can you do when time and energy are such limited resources.
For @gilgamemesh I drew the adorably creepy ghost Harha! I had really hard time making the eyes just the right amount of uncanny, as most of my tries ended up looking mostly stupid. Hopefully this final result looks okay!
For @niuniente I decided to to draw Oswald whose design I really like! Hopefully we’ll get to see him more in the future.
For @taibu (Ught thanks Tumblr for not letting me tag...) I doodled my fave girl Tataku! The next time you are taking art request I must seriously ask you to draw proper reference sheets for some of your characters. =‘D It’s always such a quest to find all the right colors and details for them, hahah.
And for @shinondraws I drew the queen of relatable expressions, Nessa! May the next year treat you more kindly than this one did. <3
Two difficult cuties this time! The Mewtwo was a total pain to draw from sideview, and the Esk’s colors were a nightmare to replicate with color pencils. =‘D (I still love them both.)
