CAT Result To Release Soon
Common Admission Test, widely referred to as CAT Exam has been successfully conducted on 24th November 2019 and the total number of applications received this year was recorded to be 2,44,269 out of which as many as 2,09,926 applicants appeared in the examination. Students who took the examination are now waiting for CAT Result to be declared along with the cut off lists generated by the colleges that accept CAT Score. Qualifying CAT Exam gets students admission to the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) across the country.
The next step to taking any examination is its much-awaited result. It is expected that the result would be declared on 6th January 2020. One of the top 6 IIMs takes up the responsibility to conduct the exam every year and this year the exam was conducted by IIM Kozhikode. IIM Kozhikode released a notification mentioning all the relevant and important dates concerning CAT 2019.
One of the most important reasons why students willing to take and qualify CAT Exam is admission to one of the top Indian Institutes of Management across the country. Admission to IIMs is the reason why CAT exam gained a lot of popularity amongst graduates.
Candidates are shortlisted based on their CAT Score

Candidates who happen to qualify the sectional as well as overall cut off released by the respective institutes would be intimated via email for Group Discussion and Personal Interview round conducted at the institute.
Knowing how marking is done would help in calculating CAT Score and deciding if the candidate is eligible for admission to IIMs. Candidates with extraordinary percentile are given admission to the top IIMs.
· Marks obtained by candidates in all three sections along with overall marks are considered for admission.
· In CAT Exam, appearing candidates are rewarded with +3 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark is deducted as penalty for each incorrect one.
· The score is released in the form of percentile which indicates the value below which a given percentage of candidates falls.
Candidates would be advised to wait until CAT 2019 Response sheet is released as it would help them know the marks obtained by them in CAT Exam.
