DMS IIT Delhi Admission 2025
DMS IIT Delhi Admission 2025: Indian Institute of Technology Department of Management Studies (DMS IIT) Delhi released the application form for its 2 year full time MBA & MBA Telecommunication Management admission for 2025 batch. Candidates can apply online till January 24, 2025. DMS IIT Delhi Ranked 4th in the Management category in NIRF Ranking 2024.
Eligibility
The candidates having the following qualifications are eligible to apply for admission to the MBA programme
Masters in Business Administration (MBA): A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent awarded by any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.
A minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or 6.00 CGPA on a 10 point scale or equivalent in the qualifying degree.
A relaxation of 5% in marks (i.e. min. 55%) or equivalent in CGPA (i.e. min. 5.50 on a 10-point scale) for the SC/ST/PwD candidates.
Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. If selected, such candidates will be allowed to join the programme provisionally, only if she/he submits a certificate by certain date.
Those having applied to IIT Delhi MBA programmes on qualifying the CAT 2024 will be shortlisted and then invited for a interview, which will be held at IIT Delhi.

Tuition Fees for Indian Citizens: Rs. 12.00 Lacs for the entire MBA Full Time Programme payable in equal installments (4 Semesters)

CAT Score vs Percentile: How are they different?
While the CAT score and percentile are related, they measure different aspects of a candidate’s performance.
The score is an overall number of correct answers provided individually, and the percentile ranks candidates against one another.
This means that if the exam is difficult, the chances are high that a low score will draw a good rank, for the same reason low scores are likely to draw a high rank, implying that most candidates scored low marks.
On the other hand, a high score may not place one in the highest percentile in case the exam is easy, and many people score high.
For this reason, among others a candidate needs to discern the difference between application and admission rates such factors contribute to one’s probability of being admitted.

At 2 AM this morning I came up with a name for the scale by which I judge my actions, which I now call the Cat Score; how elegantly, efficiently, or well-thought-out would my actions seem to someone else on a scale of 1 to 5 (or 10, if you want to get real specific I guess?).
Cat Score is all about appearances. For example, if a cat rolls off the couch while flooping, pretty easily a low Cat Score, BUT if catto immediately sits up and begins washing themselves, they bring that score back up a little and retain their dignity. So when I make a flub in a meering, for example, will often lean into it a bit, either comically exaggerating the impact (briefly though, don't waste people's time!) or letting it lead me into another topic, but never apologising for it.
Maintaining a high Cat Score is important for me though which is why I get anxious about super new situations, especially related to phone calls where I can't see how people are reacting (plus I have bad hearing so I am more likely to fuck up). How will I look like I know anything if I don't actually know anything? Frankly stating I don't know much about the situation and asking questions makes me feel better and helps me learn for next time (plus it is self-reflective, good Cat Score) but it can be rough.
Literally started thinking about this because I was reflecting on how my cat Logan did a spoop and comically ran in place for a half second (wooden floors, furry paws) before bolting. 5/5 perfect Cat Score right there

CAT Result To Release Soon
Common Admission Test, widely referred to as CAT Exam has been successfully conducted on 24th November 2019 and the total number of applications received this year was recorded to be 2,44,269 out of which as many as 2,09,926 applicants appeared in the examination. Students who took the examination are now waiting for CAT Result to be declared along with the cut off lists generated by the colleges that accept CAT Score.
