Ken Page truly was the quintessential Old Deuteronomy. His portrayal of the character was so warm and loving, and his voice fit the role in the most beautiful way possible. He will always be one of the most iconic Cats actors and Broadway actors. He’s going to be so so missed, may he rest in peace.

Still can't believe Ken Page has passed away. He will always be Old Deuteronomy to me, and I feel like I'm kind of numb but also sad at the same time. Rewatching the '98 film is going to feel very different now, especially during his song.

Macavity teams up with Jerrie and Teazer to all stack up in a trenchcoat and that's their human disguise that they use to act as a sleazy lawyer. They get paid in tuna and catnip so they're very affordable but not terribly effective in a court of law.
