Hello! Hope you are keeping safe. I wish to know that as an English major, how would you define your IIM interviews experience? (All the best for the subsequent academic year!)
The kind of questions one gets in an IIM interview depend entirely on the resume you submit- they can be anything related to your industry of work, your undergrad classes, even the place you live in. Since I had some work experience, most of my questions were about that. The only ones I got related to my major were:
What's the last book you read?
Can you relate the main character to any real-life business man alive today? (The book was Sirens of Titan, I made a comparison to Elon Musk)
Overall I didn't too many difficult quant or GK questions. Mostly interviewers just want to get to know you better and understand your thought process, rather than how many facts you can memorise.
