I feel like James Earl Cash would be a cat magnet.

Cats pretty much prefer to keep to themselves, as everyone knows by now I imagine. Cats do definitely love attention and affection aswell, my own cat wont hesitate to run up to me if he wants some scratches upon his noggin; but they usually reserve this behavior for someone they trust (again, there are some outliers). Otherwise, they're pretty much isolated creatures who are happy to be alone.

Cash is also happy to be alone, keeps to himself just like a cat would; so If a cutesy feline was to walk past him, he wouldn't really pay it any mind.

And the cats, love this. They view this as a sign of respecting their boundaries, and therefore, that Cash is someone they can trust.

Now they'll absosutely flock to him, and he DESPISES IT. Does NOT fuck with this much attention.

Rimmer is biromantic asexual. (Internalized homophobia, though; he believes that he is broken and tries to act as if he isn't in order to "fix it".)

Kryten doesn't identify with any gender, but he does usually use he/him pronouns for simplicity.

The Cat does, in fact, have a tail! He just hides it so no one pulls on it.

Lister enjoys making pillow forts, especially when he wants to watch his favorite shows.

Lister's also intersex because I said so.

Rimmer secretly cares deeply for everyone aboard RD. Yes, even the skutters. He knows all of their names and pronouns and everything.

Lister was heavily influenced by David Bowie, KISS, and the Sex Pistols. They all made him want to learn to play guitar and perform.

Kryten is SUPER into reality TV.

He has gotten everyone else into it.

They watch Keeping Up With the Kardashians together.

KOCHANSKI??? TRANSFEM.

Lister wants to decorate jackets for the other Boys From The Dwarf (tm), complete with all sorts of patches and buttons that he feels like they would identify with.

Rimmer loves to paint. While soft-light, not being able to do that upsets him greatly.

He is also VERY tactile. Being hard-light has made him far happier than he would ever admit simply because he can touch.

The Cat has made it his mission to try to bedazzle Rimmer's 'H'.

Holly is genderfluid who doesn't give a damn.

She's like. "She/Her? Yep." And then randomly goes, "Actually, he/him. No wait-"

They have game nights and such! Movie nights, too. They once all made friendship bracelets for each other.

suguru: i believe he is an oriental shorthair.. if not he is a sunda clouded leopard perhaps.. (he gives off very sleek/gorgeous cat vibes iykwim)

satoru: sorry i have to go with the snow leopard allegations.. gulp or like a white maine coon bcz i feel like he'd be a slinky dude.. but furry

nobara: my queen is a cheetah (maybe but not my fav hc) or a serval.. OR a marbled cat i think fits very well for some reason. (prob marbled cat but serval is close too) idk she'd be a scraggly kind of cat imo just because shes a little deranged but i na sweet way

megumi: a black leopard or a black maine coon or some type of pointy eared cat.. sorry megumi i didnt give u much thought </3

nanami: maybe an african golden cat or a lion but i dont think lion suits him.. some kind of sleek golden cat probably though

honorable mention, haibara: possibly a jaguarundi, idk i didnt give it much thought but yes

I have 3 fav Warsaw family hcs:

First one is that Jelly and Skimble are mates and Jemima and Tumble are their kids. And that Jelly, Alonzo and Carbucketty are cousins

Second is that Bustopher and Jenny are mates, Misto is their son and Victoria is his and Cass' daughter (although they aren't necessarily together anymore). Plus i hc Warsaw Bustopher as an older brother to jellicle Bustopher and thus W Miasto, Jellicle Misto and Jellicle Vic as cousins XD

And third is that Tugger is Grizabella's son and Deme's older half brother, but he was adopted and raised by Old D and thus is also Munk's and Victor's older brother (I have another two older brothers there as well but they're just my ocs so XD)

They're both great actors, so she helps him run lines

They never fail to make each other laugh

She helps break the tension when he gets too serious

He keeps her focused when things get serious
