If the Wukong and Macaque were different animals, what animals do you think they'd be?

Macaque gives off cat vibes. Like a stray cat you'd find in an alleyway. Friendly enough if you give him food, otherwise he'll watch you from the shadows.

Wukong, on the otherhand, is a little harder for me to decide. My first thought was he would also be a cat, but then I remembered his treasure hoard, so he's a bird, specifically a bird of paradise. Beautiful and majestic but also loud and a little annoying.

But basically before being killed, cat macaque used to have fur as Moonstones, and less sharp edges. To see him in current time was like seeing a ghost, a beautiful gem. But as Cat wukong suspected a bit, it’s too good to be true

I will say it only turned an oily iridescent black when he was left in the underworld, the ash and char seering into his fur in the time there.
