I was thinking about what my bf would look like as a cat and just spent a long time looking at mainecoons
On Wednesday I went for a walk through a local park and in the garden that surrounds the information center building there was this really cute plant with pretty, fragrant leaves:
So of course I, a dumbass, pinched off a couple inches of the plant and took it home to propagate even though I had no idea what it is (I knew it wasnt anything toxic to humans though, since the park is adjacent to an elementary school and a playground and little kids are always around there).
Anyway the next day at least one of my cats found the cuttings in a shot glass of water on my kitchen windowsill and terrorized it relentlessly, to the point of shredding all the leaves off and leaving stems all over the kitchen. After the third time I noticed the cuttings moved I ended up doing some googling and I found out this plant is called cat thyme! And cats love it! It's sort of similar to catnip! And i just had no idea. Now i want a plant of it in my backyard even more, just for the kitties.
