This was the “guide” to intimacy I was given in school as a teenager.

This I so disgusting. Ok maybe one or two bad peoples I get it let’s not demonize the whole culture.

This is systemic since the beginning of this Christian culture.

I'm in the marriage unit of my religion class I hate this

"marriage needs to have a female and male perspective"

"gay marriage is not really okay in the church" (Canada has legally allowed for same-sex marriage since 2005)

My gross, creepy, piggish teacher would rather force 2 girls to marry a guy, than let two people of the same gender marry.

"in civics you learn how the government works" or, more accurately "in this course your racist homophobic rich white cishet male teacher who despite teaching at an inner city school, still manages to hate poor people, will dedicate two and a half months to explaining why you, a student at the most culturally diverse school in the board, should probably vote conservative."
