I don't know if you know CynicalRainbows's "The Next Best Thing" - but if you do, can you do one picture of Catalina and tiny!Cathy and one of Jane and tiny!Kitty? (Bonus points for including Tarkar and Pink Kitty!)
Oooh I'm definitely familiar with the fanfic yes - I've only gotten through the first few chapters though! It's a pretty great fic. Would recommend for the precious fluffs and familial love and growth
Anne is a huge cuddler ? and would often bear hug people when tired.
I know you said bear hug but I was in the mood for an arm hug ahah
Thanks for the prompt! It's really cute. Also Casual Cathy because I haven't drawn her yet
Super Short Story under the cut
20th May had Anne up at the crack of dawn. The day before had been absolutely hellish for her, and one would expect the queen to take the entire day to recover. Instead, she forced herself out of bed, stumbling the first few steps out the door.
The house was quiet. It was no surprise that no one was up yet. At least, that was how it seemed - until Anne caught sight of the sixth door down the hallway to be left half-way open, with its lights turned off. It would appear someone had gotten the idea to get up even earlier. In any normal day, this would horrify Anne - but at the moment, all she could think of was how she wouldn't have to wait for anyone else to wake up. She made her way downstairs to look for her fellow queen.
Sure enough, seated comfortably at the living room couch with a book she seemed completely engrossed in, was Cathy. Anne wasted no time in making a beeline for her, sliding in right next to her side. Startled, Cathy allowed Anne to cling to one of her arms in a side-embrace, only holding up her arm to pat at Anne's shoulder awkwardly.
When Anne didn't say anything, only tighting her hold, Cathy looked to her in concern. She took note of the second queen's pale face and sunken eyes. "Not that I don't appreciate the hug, but are you alright, Anne? You look exhausted."
Anne merely breathed in contentment, leaning her forehead against the side of Cathy's head. "Never better." She said in a voice so low Cathy couldn't have heard her if it weren't for their closeness. "I've got all of you."
When the other queens came down one by one later, Anne was quick to give them all hugs, regardless of the remaining weariness in her very bones - only finally falling back to sleep after cuddling with all five members of her family.
