Oh, being bad ended with him outside. This meant he could roam for a while, and bring dead mice to leave on Itachi's door step, as a peace offering for wrecking his cushion. At least he was a good hunter, but later on he would wash his mouth out. Because catching mice was gross after all.

He doesn't really like dead mice, Kakashi.

But, to be fair, that is a typical cat behavior. Though, the behavior is usually because the cat sees the person as a failure of a hunter, and wants to teach it. It's appreciated, but he thinks he knows enough, Kakashi. 

He must spend time cleaning up the mess that was made earlier.
