Well, Catopia was taken off the market in 2018, but it's still on the real estate listings, just in case a buyer comes along. It's a live/work situation, (I think), a cat store/facility of sorts, in the middle of nowhere. The house, built in 1992 in Concho, AZ, has 2bds, 1ba, 2,500 sq ft, $401,800. Let's revisit in case you haven't seen it yet.
Catopia is all about cats, but looking at it again, I'm not sure if it's a business or just a residence.
This could be the living room, maybe.
It's very confusing.
This is the single bath.
And, the kitchen.
A mug wall.
The ceilings are covered in pictures, but they just looked tacked up.
This looks like a counter and a kitchen island back there.
There are lots of things covered in river stones.
There's no flooring in this room, the walls are covered in pictures, and the water heater is in here, all taped up.
These red walls look like they're covered in plush toys.
Stairs to the 2nd level.
Part of the 2nd fl. is a loft and open to the main floor. Almost every square inch of this house is covered in paper pictures.
The listing says 2 bds., so they must be up here.
Now, this looks like stuff that may be for sale.
This place is so confusing. So, what do you think of Catopia?
It looks like they were in the process of adding an extension.
Well, it took almost five years, but earlier tonight, either Whisper or Dexy finally scratched enough of the top loungey area of the Catopia Bella X Scratcher for it to collapse. That’s some tough cardboard, and probably why the company went out of business.
