— elphaba has resonated with black cats since she was a young girl . cast aside , shunned , an afterthought

— she grew up playing animals with nessa , holding such a love for them even then ! elphaba was always the cat in these games , of course

— kitty elphie naps so , so much . it is almost concerning . staying up late to catch up on work ? out the window . she is quite the contrast to puppy galinda , who practically bounces off of the walls

— elphaba is all about studying — but when she regresses ? nope , nope , no . she hates writing then . reading , though , is a different story . it’s so relaxing to her , she could never refuse reading even if it may be more difficult then

— without fail , elphaba will curl up into herself , positioning her pillows around her and propping up a book just right . chances are she falls asleep like this , book forgotten

— she adores growing out her nails and sharpening them , as you may know . she loves the feel of clawing things

— galinda happily takes care of elphaba when she’s like this . it’s not at all a difficult task . simply laying down with elphie , gently stroking her hair is all it takes .. sometimes
