i’m really starting to think i should stop properly lining my art altogether. the clean lines looks pretty good, moreso if i use vectors to mess with the line weight and stuff, but they take HOURS, and i always put lining off forever cuz i hate doing it. but when i leave it sketchy, i have much more fun doing it, and therefor have more energy for after effects like shading.

i dunno. i’ve known for a long time that clean lineart is what gets in the way of me getting stuff done quickly and really enjoying drawing... but i feel that clean drawings just look so much more finished and professional that i’d be insulting folks to stop offering it.
