The funny thing is Shriek unknowingly actually does have the reputation of being "the little princess of Night Raven", given that she's its youngest student who's doted on by the others no matter how much they try to hide it.
Xochi told Shriek this auspicious amethyst from a far-off land (the farmer's market in town) would compliment her little ruby eyes and enhance her demon magic tenfold.
Hence Shriek fluttering around campus with this upon her fuzzy little head boasting that she'll incinerate anyone who dares to swipe it, GRIM AND RUGGIE.
