So I do TNR and socialization and rehoming bc i live on a street where people witlNOT FUCKING GET THEIR CATS FIXED AND KEEP THEM INSIDE and lately I'm working on this guy, Little Big Fat. And I need you to look at him
he's easily over 15lbs and i can fit my hand in between his ears.
Still working with him and another cat, getting them litterbox trained and used to indoors before actively looking for homes
I've got sad news- some of you may be familiar with my mom's massive cat, Ranger, who I take scale photos of every time I'm in town for a holiday.
Unfortunately we've learned two things about him recently. First, he's ANCIENT- probably 17 or 18 years old. My mom inherited him from a great-aunt we hadn't been in contact with much and his age had been a guess until another aunt gave us a frame of reference. Second, his health is rapidly declining due to a recently discovered tumor. He's basically in hospice care at home, on meds to keep him comfortable until his time comes.
My mom, of course, loves this ham man and is having a hard time. I want to make her laugh and remember him fondly. I have a request for any and all artists out there:
Draw him bigger.
Sophie is not happy that My Having Been Spinning For Half An Hour Already is interrupting her lap time.
