Me: sits on couch and wants to cuddle with cat

Cat: runs away and prefers sitting on the table or on the edge of the couch

Me: sits on the toilet

Cat: appears out of nowhere and wants to be on my lap, preferably sleeping or licking herself

Me: wants to get up from toilet to pull pants on

Cat: doesn’t give a fuck and watches you like “I fucking dare you to put me down, human”

Me: awkwardly wiggles pants up with just one hand while trying to hold cat in the other and she doesn’t even want to be put down at all

Me: sits on couch again and wants to cuddle more with cat now that I’m comfortable and wearing pants

Cat: runs away and prefers squeezing herself under the couch so that I can’t get her anymore
