Trying my hands on medieval art inspired illustration for my comic project.
And I will need a lot of it.
I'm tempted to make a little series of The Invisible Man backrounds.
But the highlight would be, that griffin is in everyone of them. Barely noticable. Just mysterious footshaped holes in the river or some suspicious creases in the fabric of a bed.
I have played with my colours again .
Guess who got to read classics again and got her hand an The Invisible Man.
ITS A FASCINATING CHARACTER.
I somehow expected a story more like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, but it was so different and I really like the sort of different.
Griffin is so unapologetic evil.
Also I really like the opportunity drawing someone invisible. You have to wrap your brain around his body for the drapes and clothes and I LOVE THAT.
Pool cake
All done, they are so squishy ❤️
A atlantic bluefin tuna and a atlantic redfish :D
Painting experiment. The photo ignored 50 % of his skin colour.
Daily treat with my little fixation.
Is it already annoying?
Another day, another excuse for new J&H sketches.
And I tried guache again.
Lanyon, Utterson and Jekyll.
I promise this will be the last one for now.
I don't have a excuse anymore. It seems I have a weakness for characters, who are not ready to accept their dark side.
Reading the last chapter I was imagining a scene, where Hyde changed back to Jekyll. But Jekyll was not quite at the point to reflect on his committed crimes and was still too thrilled by the sensation and adrenaline of it.
Not quite sure, wether i succeeded with the depiction of it, but I'm at least satisfied with the colours.
What he has done is up to you, I guess.
Just finished Strange case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and now I'm a little bit inspired.
Guache does not like to be photographed : (
Edit: New and better pictures
