Hey there! I wanted to ask, I am genuinely curious, how did people come to the conclusion of Dobson's CattyN persona being a teenager? I know Dobby is known for lying but the only thing I can find is him stating that it was a woman... Did he create fake stories on his DeviantArt journal, or did he act a certain way or something?
Both the way he acted and the fact that he admitted as much.

My thing with Catty-N though, all things considered I personally wouldn't rag on Dobson about it (y'know, if he got his shit together and was honest about it). Considering most of the Catty-N stuff is over a decade ago now and trying to rank on people over years old shit is just petty and stupid. People CAN change, believe it or not.
Buuuuuut with Dobson though... yeah, full-fledged hypocrisy, among other things. Had it been anyone else I'd understand but knowing Dobson.... oof.
Oh definitely. If Dobson wasn’t such a massive hypocrite regarding “respecting women” and all the Twitter talking points he vomited out, the whole CattyN thing would just be a minor detail or something people would bring up to tease him about now and then. Had he actually shown some humanity and rolled with the joke, it would have done amazing things for him.
As an example, no matter your feelings on Doug Walker and whether or not you think that whole CTC document was completely valid or not, his willingness to let himself be the butt of the joke and laugh along with it has done wonders for his public image post-CTC. Even if people don’t like his content, they still like Doug himself.
Has Dobson ever said his thoughts on furries?, cause I recall a comic where he said he didn’t understand it

As a woman who is attracted to women, and looks at wlw media for the sake of being apart of that demographic, I feel Dobson would’ve gotten less backlash if he was like, “Yes I do enjoy ogling at wlw, however I still believe LGBT people deserve rights and have a place in the world”
You know, admitting he’s got a fetish, but confirming it does not warp his beliefs that the people he fetishizes deserve respect
Yeah, lying so blatantly about his reasons really just made everyone assume the worst, not that his ego and condescending nature didn’t help either.
Maybe he was just deathly afraid of being canceled for the inflation stuff and heavily overcompensated as a result.
