My shipper brain accidentally kicked into 5th gear while watching a certain CW Supergirl episode and now it looks like I'm going to be cutting down timbers with my bare hands to build a pretty much non-existent ship. The Tumblr tag literally didn't even exist before I sent an ask to the supergirl May-hem team about the ship, and there is only one work on AO3. Which is absolutely CRIMINAL because Cat Grant and Leslie Willis have so much shipping potential- The shared history? (reminiscing about that awful breakup angst, anyone?) Leslie's borderline obsession? The complicated power dynamics from both pre and post Livewire? Also a Cat Grant ship that doesn't make me want to hide in a closet with socks over my ears (no hate to Supercat shippers but I personally wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole)
Anyway looks like I'll need to be captaining my own ship. If anyone wants to jump aboard, feel free. I could use the company.

CatWire isn't a ship that us mods are familiar with, but we welcome all WLW ships in the Supergirl May-hem event so even if you don't see any specific promos for your ship of choice, don't let that stop you from joining!
We're trying to cover as many of them as possible and we're always open to more ships. We don't care how big or small the fanbase is, if you want to come and celebrate your ship, you're more than welcome to.
