Wheeljack:
in idw2, he’s Gears’ mentor, and is VERY protective of Gears and also keeps Gears under his wing for longer that most mentees would be. Protective papa,,, [x]
he and ratchet created the dinobots so he's technically already a parent/creator! aside from that, though, he'd be a very fun, quirky creator to have and he's more than capable of protecting his kids from threats (just look at him in aligned or the devastation video game). he'd also be able to teach his kids all kinds of stuff about science and engineering! [x]

Ugh I wanna do something but I literally don't want to do anything

sometimes you see Takes™ that make you go "mmmhmmm okay yeah i see we both interpreted that differently based on what the show gave us, but i see how you arrived at your ideas even if they're different from mine," and then sometimes you see Takes™ that make you go "brother what show did you even fucking watch"

Italian novelist/artist, Dino Buzzati (1906-1972).
you put up with what you think you deserve, and the things you want you resent
just finished harrow the ninth and i feel sick but i fucking love ianthe
I finally. FINALLY. Found a place where I actually fit in. Why is this so scary. Why am I getting so nervous about everything. There's a thunderstorm and I can't feel the energy, I'm just scared. I don't feel like myself. The real me would be out there helping people take things down, but I'm just sitting inside, not saying anything. Why am I like this.
i really need to get a job bc why do i suddenly want to take up woodworking
Finally catching up on Protocol and man I forgot what a fun ship Dyhard is
hey everyone, just curious:
what is everyone's criteria for blocking people?
like and the idea that women are 'allowed' to be emotional under patriarchy while men aren't is so wild to me because anyone who's ever been a woman in a workplace knows there's no fucking way you can ever be emotional without basically being shadowbanned from any opportunity for promotion or important assignments/projects forever and ever and ever. any woman can tell you the social punishment for crying or even getting a little emotional in almost any situation. women are expected to be emotional, but they are not free to be emotional. they are punished for it all the same. and yes, certain marginalized men are also forbade from showing emotion because they will be similarly punished.
but my point is that i feel men can and should discuss the issue of shame which stifles men's emotions without pretending we live in a fantasy world where women are exempt from the issue.
"men are shamed for showing emotion" is a true statement, full stop. there's no reason to begin or end it by insisting women, in contrast, are not.
