Some of us get tired of macabre fairy tales. So you enjoy your mouthful of lies, when they choke it out of you.
â Caleb Widogast (played by Liam O'Brien), Critical Role 2x70: "Causatum"
After being frazzled by the scourger encounter, Caleb going back to the Xhorhaus and just trying to affirm that things are good with this group, with his group while sipping on alcohol to calm himself down... Caleb just hyper processing many things at once and everyone else being like âwtf are you doing...?â
âTo wunderbarsâ
Caleb semi-babbling to Essek asking for time to talking to the scourger...
Meanwhile Essek is like âshit fuck scourgers are trained by Trent and Iâve worked with Trent, fuck.â
Caleb, referring the scourger: "She is me if I had turned out to be me.â
Itâs such an interesting statement. Like he thinks being a volstrucker - the person who tortured and killed, who killed his parents in the name of the Empire - is who he really is. He thinks that everything heâs built himself to be since is somehow a lie or not who he âreallyâ is...
Caleb turning Frumpkin back into a cat before going to bed the night Yasha is turned because he needs the comfort.
Then the next morning, he sends Frumpkin around to comfort everyone as they figure out what theyâre doing next

THE INVINCIBLE DOORWAY GIRL : INVINCIBLE VERSEÂ
âi mean, i wouldnât do that. earth has the best comics.â
udyati rao doesnât hail from viltrum. but that doesnât mean that she doesnât know about it. much like mark grayson she, too, is a hybrid: half human, half alien. much like him, she, too, has powers.
together, the twelve planets of the rashi galaxy - which can be found in the jyotisha system - make up what is aptly called the jyotisha alliance. it is one of the few planets that the viltrumites didnât help. occasionally, udyati opens a door to one of those planets. her mom works a lot, isnât home often and still thinks that her only daughter doesnât have powers.Â
(little does udyati know, however, that her mom knows. her mom has known, all along.)
she goes to school with amber, mark, samantha, william and todd but mostly sticks with her childhood friends and laments that not even cool super-powers soften the blow that is having dyscalculia and weird internal temperature.
she does like the teen team, though she doesnât see herself joining them or any other team anytime soon for she is certain that she is not what they are looking for at all.
and, also, if mark grayson isnât serious about dating amber bennett, he might as well pass her phone number to udyati, because, yes, udyati has one hell of a crush on her.
@causatumâ | đś  for  your  character   to   play   music   or   sing   to   mine  ( julian since he can play the piano )
Sometimes Lillian wonders if sheâll ever stop being so moved by moments like this. If the fact that she has Julian in her life again wonât always feel a little too good to be true. At least sheâs stopped waking up thinking itâs all a dream, but she has that surreal feeling now, watching him play from her spot on the couch, her book quite forgotten. She sets it aside, leaning forwards to rest her elbows on her knees, paying rapt attention as the music fills the living room. Itâs not until the music has died down and sheâs sure the song has finished that she rises to move towards him, and murmurs, âthat was...â her voice sounds oddly choked, and she clears her throat quickly. âYou play beautifullyâ.Â
