This morning, @ladyjcosplay and @kevindcosplay and myself drove to Logan Circle in Philly, to hand out the blankets and sleeping bags we had collected, along with sandwiches and bottled water. Thank you to those who donated and made this possible. It definitely made a difference for those who were able to get one of these items. However, we also witnessed just how much more need there is and it was absolutely heartwrenching. Please, please consider donating an old or new sleeping bag, socks, baby wipes or handwarmers this week. Today was 50° out, but the wind was brutal and freezing already. It's going to snow and the temperatures will drop drastically in the next couple of days. Every little bit helps. For the next couple of Sundays, we will be making trips back to take whatever we can. A case of handwarmers at BJs wholesale club is $19.99. So is a case of baby wipes.
