It was all going to plan. She had won Thor’s heart. She had found her place in Asgard. But, at what cost? She hated this. It was simple really. Lucifer Morningstar wanted her as his bride. You see, centuries ago, her family had made a deal. They had become the first ever witches to roam the earth. In return, they had sworn that when a daughter born with the power of blood, she would be his. She would have his son. She, would help him take over Heaven and the world below. All that chaos? That horror? It had lead to her at the young age of eight, holding her own mothers still beating heart, as the Devil’s eyes bore into her very soul. This was her way out. This, was her only option to finally be free.
Tonight, there was some grand ball. A masquerade. The witch wore an elegant light blue gown, spun from some of the finest fabric she had ever seen. It was revealing enough, that her tattoo could be seen, creeping up her back. Her mask, was so delicate that truth be told, she was afraid it would break at any moment. She walked into the grand hall and, felt herself bite at her lower lip nervously as all eyes fell upon her. That’s when she saw him. When amber hues found those ocean eyes. Her heart was instantly a flutter. She couldn’t do this. She couldn’t stand looking at him, when it was his brother she was betraying so harshly.
“Loki... You look great.”
