"they didn’t recognize me at first, but then,
they thought I was you…"
Guys... I'm gonna be honest. I have no idea how I'm gonna dye my hair back to purple without frying my hair even more. I had to bleach the purple out to get it like this, then use dye that matched my natural hair. I'm so scared to bleach and dye it again
i got supremely bored during class - which is not great because it was math class - and in my defense my brain wasn’t working properly so I assigned flowers to both 8path crews
potential spoilers for the OT2 crew’s flower language meanings
alright now back to my regularly-scheduled linear algebra :DDDD
Next Legends Trio. For Unova or/and Johto. Saying it right now.
Me? I'm just dancing around my partner's girlfriends' red flags trying to highlight them without actually pointing them out
To be fair, they may only be red from the back and I just don't know
But I gotta let my partner know they are flags
Through the Veil again
I just wanted to gif these two shots from 11x13 because once again the tarp and the scaffolding in the basement form a barrier between two rooms - or two planes of existence in you look at it sideways. The confrontation with Amara, even if it’s only a cheap imitation of her, takes place through the veil. It comes only one episode after this:
Not only this but the supports and the wood frames also create a cage-like arena which has been repeated a couple of times so far with TFW’s fight with Lucifer in 11x09/11x10 and Sam’s fight with Henry in the abandoned pool in 11x12 - I wrote more on the latter here. It seems set to continue in the wrestling themed episode 11x15
What’s also interesting is that ‘Amara’ appears to follow Dean into the basement, which ties in with the possible theory that Dean will somehow lead Amara or trick her into being sealed away again, inside the Empty perhaps, and in order to do this Dean will have to pass through the Veil, or in other words Dean will have to die.
This scene is starting to look like a mock up of what may actually happen.
I’m wondering if the the specific difference between upstairs (where Sam stabs the black heart to reveal the bright grace-like substance) and downstairs in the basement (where Dean fights Amara) is supposed to be representative of Heaven and Hell respectively. I’ve been wondering over whether TFW will have to travel both to Heaven and Hell since 11x02 and seeing those dang elevator signs. We’ve had Hell so far and I still think it’s possible to bring Heaven into the mix, and this could imply all sorts of interesting things in terms of how to defeat Amara - especially if in 11x14 it’s stated that the ‘Hand of God’ can kill her (though I really am not trusting Lucifer’s word on this). Or maybe *wild spec* Heaven is where Cas stashed the First Blade?
This isn’t the real Amara we know, but Dean once again fails at stabbing her for the third time (even though the Qareen can only be killed by stabbing the heart) but Sam succeeds and releases the light from within its dark shell. I’ve already seen some speculation about what this could represent from Cas trapped with Lucifer, or the ‘light’ trapped within the Darkness
Later in the episode we have Dean admitting that he might not be able to kill her and Sam affirming that he will. There’s just so much possible foreshadowing to take from this, especially that of Sam and Dean (particularly Dean I think) having to die and pass through the veil to defeat the Darkness, maybe Lucifer as well, but I’m hesitant to make any solid predictions at the moment.
And this all takes place within a salon called ‘The Art of Dyeing’, as Dean says, shouldn’t that be warning enough?
"Of course they didn't. Hahaha- OW! I BIT MY TONGUE!!!!!! OUCH!!!!! I'M BLEEDING NOW!!!!!!!" Marx screeched.
".........Did.........my fangs just get sharper?" Marx tilted his head in confusion.
