Hey there, so the outfits at the Force Awakens Exhibitions actually have their materials listed on the next to them, but they're a bit vague at times: silk was involved in it, along with canvas, and cotton for sure. I got a picture of Rey's costume plate, but it's blurry, so I'm going to try and get another shot today.

Awesome! Thanks for the tip. And yeah, if you can get a clear shot of the plate, I would love to see it.

If I’m remembering right, the tunics from AotC/RotS were (cotton) khadi, woven to spec. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of Rey’s costume is made of similar stuff.

1. Favourite fairy tale?

-Well, I don't really have one. But my least favourites are the ones that tell us not to be curious, not to ask questions, not to fly too close to the sun. I hate stories that tell us to "remember our place in the world" and "don't play God". I firmly believe that humanity is in a sorry state, and we have to push those limits if we're ever going to fix that. 

2. First book/tv show/movie/game/? that really got you emotionally invested, or interested in finding a fandom, whether you were active in one or not?

-Dragon Age is my first fandom. I had no idea of the rabbit hole I was falling into!

3.  Favorite cookie? nomnomnom

-I like plain old chocolate chip best. Usually I just order cheesecake though. 

4. steampunk or cyberpunk?

-cyberpunk because I look horrible in brown. 

5.Have you succumbed to my flailing and listened to Thrilling Adventure Hour yet? (Favorite thing you’ve heard so far, if yes?) You know you want to. Time-traveling clearly queer Amelia Earhart! Nick and Nora Charles with ghosts and more booze.Also there’s a Space Western on Mars and the most competent person on the planet is a Lady. ALSO ALSO WE HAVE 100 LASERS AND THE BEST TERRIBLE PUNS EVER. <3 (

-It's on the list! I just got earbuds for my phone!

6. Or, you know, if you don’t like podcasts, have you read some Martha Wells yet? Would you like me to buy you an ebook to try out? Or possibly try a Choice of Games choose your own adventure? These are my favorite things that few other people seem to properly appreciate. :D

7.  I apologize for the proselytizing. What’s your favorite thing that you wish more people knew about? (Proselytize right back!)

-Iain M. Banks! Start with Player of Games. Sentient AIs and people who can become aliens if they so choose and become immortal if they really want to and transhumanism and some of it's ridiculous and some of it's awesome and I wish someone else would read them and have a different take for me to argue with. 

8. Whipped cream or marshmallows?

-Marshmallows are filthy, vile little things that are trying to be whipped cream in a pre-packaged format that lives forever in a plastic bag. They fail at their mission, and are horrendous in every respect. 

Except around a campfire. Smores are their only redeeming feature. 

9. Prompt me for a fic or meta or character flailing if you’d like! 

-Sorry, I got nothing. Maybe once DA:I comes out. 

10.  I have run out of ideas. Share a random fact.

-I can recite "death be not proud" in its entirety. It is a creepy and useless talent to have, and I love it. 

11. Of the things you’ve written or created (fanfic, art, Tumblr posts), which one are you proudest of?

-I have SO MANY IDEAS for fics but I don't know how to write, just outline. I keep trying and failing. My fics are a collection of notes, and then two or three paragraphs of actual fic, and then back to bullet points. I love some of these ideas! I really, really do! I just don't know how to write them. I think I'm not reading enough, lately. 

But I have so many awesome ideas that I am so proud of and that no one else ever sees.

Thanks for the congrats! I'm so excited to start doing things officially with Kamino Base here in CT, USA. Comiconn and NYCC are the first definites on my to do list. =)
