Yeah yeah, I know canonically Dante immediately knew it was Trish trapped inside Cavaliere Angelo because he can sense demonic power and all that, but it's still an infinitely funnier idea that he recognizes her because she opens by throwing a motorcycle at him.
Dante's never had a friend who didn't immediately try to kill him the first time they met so for him it's like he has his own secret handshake with all of them.
