notes:

each character forms an eye shape

the x across medkit's eye is sword's chat color,

the thieves' den symbol across katana's face is his chat color, his backgrounds' eyes are directed to look at deedee and not healing gun

scythe is outlined with grappling hook's horn color

the smoke around broker is zuka's horn color, the eyes in broker's background do not look at him.

the claws on healing gun's shoulders could be interpreted as either cavalry sword or father overseer. or both!

the text around healing gun are lyrics from 'an idle brain invites the devil in' from Salem the Musical

cavalry sword < - > scythe

healing gun, instead of being terrified by the threat of physical harm/disapproval, is generally kind of neurotic about her mother's status as a criminal. constantly terrified that anyone she talks to is an officer in disguise and is going to take her mother away. spends most of her time clinging to her mother or lingering around the compound like a ghost. after the incident, she stays in the compound and aimlessly wanders until broker finds her. getting her memories back is relatively easier due to the less negative nature of them. eye is removed at thirteen.

probably the most aggressive version...? worst at processing her emotions. doesn't know how to handle feelings that aren't anger, so she's prone to lashing out at people. being positive is hard, so she just resorts to being mad instead because it's her only other example of emotion. has tried to mimic scythe and broker's attitudes before only to be met with a searing headache. she spends most of her time raising messenger lovedoves in a secluded part of the compound and mostly just follows her father around. eye is removed at fifteen. the incident probably wouldn't happen due to her just not trusting people enough to hold her gear.

thinking...father overseer and cavalry sword are both grieving healing gun, one of them just Doesn't Want to admit it. (father overseer). i need to emphasize their father-daughter-esque relationship without directly stating it but HOW. that girl was genuinely like a daughter to him, the daughter he never had, but she never saw him as a 'dad' specifically. he saw his sons in her whenever she smiled or laughed and talked and it made him SICK. he's lost three kids now despite them still being ALIVE (father overseer is one of the flipside parents in this au until further notice. look at @/moonsandloons ' headcanon for it for my main reasoning, also it is just a banger theory tbh.)

cavalry sword was raised under very permissive (in reality, just neglectful) parenting...this resulted in her being very reckless in her younger years, leading an incident where she got very badly scarred on her left arm. she then began to resent her caregiver for how reckless they made her, leading to her having a vice grip on healing gun as she raised her.
